Course Options
- - Students are presented with two tracks, each offering a distinct set of course options. Each track consists of two courses, with each course worth 3 credits (6 credits = 10 ECTS).
- - Students have the option to either take both courses in their chosen track (Option 1) or select only one course (Options 4 and 5 - taking 3 credits). Additionally, students may choose to include the Korean language course as part of their track (Options 2 and 3).
- - Each class meets for 3 hours a day, totaling 45 hours over a span of 4 weeks.
- - It is important to note that, as per UOS academic rules, once the change and drop period has passed (scheduled in mid-May), it is not possible to drop or change the selected course.

Track1
The “Business in Korean perspective” track at the University of Seoul Summer School program offers students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Korean economy, business practices, and global marketing management, in the context of the Asian market. Through a combination of lectures and hands-on experiences, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing Korean and other Asian businesses in the global marketplace. In addition, students will have the chance to explore a special topic in global business, offering them a unique perspective on the latest trends and issues in the field. Whether you are interested in pursuing a career in business or simply want to expand your knowledge of the global economy, the Korean Studies track is an excellent choice
Track2
The "Korean Culture Studies" track at the University of Seoul Summer School program is perfect for those who are interested in Korean culture, including recent pop culture and history. Through a combination of lectures and hands-on experiences, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the unique aspects of Korean culture and society, with a special focus on mass media and popular culture. The program offers a range of special topics in Korean studies, such as Korean Tradition and Culture, Korean History, and Mass Media and Popular culture in Korea, which provide students with a deeper appreciation of the country's contemporary cultural landscape.

Please read below for further details about how University of Seoul may collect and use your personal information. Personal Information to be Collected and Used: Email, Password, Full Name (in English), Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, Resident Registration Number, Passport Number, Date of Expiry of Passport, GPA, Home University Information (Student ID, Major, Year), Address, Contact, Financial Status, Home University Contact
Purpose of Collection and use of Personal information: Admission to University of Seoul / Management of Academic Record, GPA
Period of Use and Retention of Personal Information: Duration of Academic Record Retention

▪ Agreement to Collect and Use Unique Identifying Information
In the pursuit of admission to International Programs at University of Seoul and the management of academic records at University of Seoul, University of Seoul shall collect and use the personal identification information.
Personal Information to be disclosed: Resident Registration Number (Only if the granter is Korean national), Passport Number
Right to Refuse Provision: You have the right to reject to give your information However, if you do not provide above information items, you may not be eligible to retrieve account information in case of loss.
※ Note: In accordance with Article 15 Clause 1 Paragraph 2 of the Personal Information Protection Act, collected personal information (Resident Registration Number) may be used without the consent of the data subject for the purpose of academic services.

▪ Agreement to Use Personal Information for Marketing and Advertisement
University of Soeul intends to process and retain personal information for the purpose of Marketing and Advertisement of its international programs.

Purpose of use of Personal information: Marketing and Advertisement of University of Seoul International Programs
Period of Use and Retention of Personal Information: 3 years
Right to Refuse Consent: You have the right to reject to give your consent. However, if you do not agree, you may not receive promotional emails, newsletters and or other forms of marketing materials of University of Seoul International Programs.
▪ Agreement to Media and Publicity Release
University of Seoul may take photographs and/or videos of participants of its international programs during the period of the program. During or after the program University of Seoul shall reproduce the photographs and/or video images taken for the purpose of publication, promotion, illustration, advertising, or trade, in any manner or in any medium without any compensation. University of Seoul shall also use the statements that were given during an interview or guest lecture, with or without a name, for the purpose of advertising and publicity without restriction without any compensation.

▪ Agreement to Provision of Personal Information to a Third Party
In the pursuit of management and operation of University of Seoul Buddy Programs, University of Seoul shall provide below personal information items to University of Seoul local students who participates as Buddy.
Personal Information to be provided: Name, Gender, University of Seoul Student ID Number, Field of Study, Mobile phone number, Email
Purpose of provision of Personal information: Operation of University of Seoul Buddy Programs
Period of Processing and Retention of Personal Information: Duration of the program
Right to Refuse Provision: You have the right to reject to give your personal information. However, if you do not provide, you may be limited to participate in University of Seoul Buddy Programs.
